Tourism Faculty “Career Day-2024”
March 12, 2024 was an important event within the walls of the Faculty of Tourism of the Kyrgyz-Turkish University “Manas” - “Career Day-2024”. It became a significant event for students wishing to build a career in tourism. The event was attended by teachers, students and representatives of leading tourism companies from different regions of Kyrgyzstan, such as Ambassador Hotel, Sofia Hotel, Supara, Nomads Land, Kyrgyz Tourism, Best Way, Raduga, South Beach, Han-Tengri and others.
The opening speech was made by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Tourism - Associate Professor, Dr. Güntekin Şimşek and others. Güntekin Şimşek and Acting Associate Professor Dr. Naryngul Margazieva. Güntekin Şimşek emphasized: “We, as a faculty, always try to combine theory and practice”. He expressed his gratitude to all the representatives of the industry and talked about the objectives of the event to help students to start their careers with confidence. Also, Associate Professor Naryngul Margazieva explained to the students the importance of compulsory internship and emphasized that through it they will gain valuable experience.
The event provided detailed information on internship and employment opportunities for students from renowned organizations in the sector. This event proved to be very productive for the students, helped them to make a step in the direction of their future career and gave them an opportunity to get answers to their questions.
