GOAL

The aim of the Master's Program of the Department of Horticulture and Field Crops; To train experts carry in out multi-faceted activities in the field of production of high quality agricultural products by benefiting from the current developments in the agricultural sector by improving the personal qualities of the students who aim to achieve results in practical applications in the field of Horticulture and Field Crops.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

  1. The master's program trains competent and successful specialists in the field of horticulture and field crops. It gives accepted students the opportunity to become experts in one of the different branches of science in the field. The program has a bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Field Crops, Horticulture, Plant Protection, Soil, Agricultural Structures and Irrigation, Agricultural Economics, Landscape Architecture, Biology, who want to be one of the experts contributing to shaping the science and future of horticulture and field crops. It offers students the opportunity to pursue a master's degree. There are four (4) classrooms, two (2) seminar halls, and five (5) research laboratories (Horticulture, Field Crops, Biotechnology, Plant Nutrition and Seeds), 3 cold storages in the execution of the master's program, as well as fruit and vegetable, field crops. There is 2.5 hectares of research and application land with cultivation areas and a greenhouse. It has lecture and scientific books, periodicals databases, internet infrastructure that provides access to electronic resources, study rooms and a central library that provides uninterrupted service.
  2. Master's education is currently given by four full-time faculty members, including three (3) Professor Doctors and one (1) Associate Professor. All faculty members conduct joint scientific studies with researchers abroad and participate in international scientific activities. Four (4) faculty members specializing in different disciplines of horticultural and field crops are working in our department, who are assigned for a five-year term from respected universities in Turkey. When necessary, well-known faculty members working in universities of the Kyrgyz Republic are also assigned part-time at our University to conduct graduate program courses.
  3. Within the scope of student exchange programs such as Erasmus, Mevlana and Orhun, there is the opportunity to receive free education and research in many prestigious universities abroad, especially in Turkey.
  4. The master's program is constantly updated according to scientific developments and innovations.
