Program Objective
Kyrgyzstan's economy has significant potential due to a growing private sector, active entrepreneurship, and a strong need for skilled professionals for sustainable financial development. However, the shortage of professional accountants and economists is slowing progress in many sectors.
The Economics and Accounting program aims to train modern professionals with a solid theoretical base and practical skills in accounting, analysis and financial planning. The main goal is to graduate professionals capable of working effectively in financial and economic structures, public institutions, private companies and international organizations.
Our objectives
- Training of qualified specialists. Formation of professionals with up-to-date knowledge in accounting, taxation, analysis, and audit, responsible and complying with the principles of professional ethics.
- Development of financial and analytical thinking. Learning to analyze financial information, prepare reports and make economically sound decisions.
- Multilingual training. Ensuring proficiency in Kyrgyz, Russian, and Turkish languages to increase the competitiveness of graduates in the domestic and international labor market.
- Practical orientation. Integration of theory and practice through case studies, practices and business games reflecting real economic processes.
- Formation of managerial and leadership qualities. Development of organizational abilities, managerial thinking and teamwork skills.
- Entrepreneurial thinking. Stimulation of initiative, development of business planning skills and startup culture.
- Formation of social responsibility. Fostering an informed attitude towards society and the environment, commitment to the principles of sustainable development and financial transparency.
Internship opportunities
Our students have up to 3 semesters of internship during their studies - in accounting departments of public and private organizations, banks, tax authorities, small and medium-sized businesses.

Program development process
The program was developed in 2005-2006 academic year on the basis of the professional college of Kyrgyz-Turkish University “Manas”, taking into account the requirements of the labor market and international educational standards. Its first graduates graduated in 2009-2010.
