Information on the Organizational-Legal Form and the Ownership Structure of the University:

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University is a public institute of higher education, founded based on a charter signed by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye. The charter was signed on September 30, 1995, in Izmir, officially establishing Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. The first students began their studies in the 1997-1998 academic year.

On January 18, 2019, the university received its certificate of state re-registration from the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic - № 4340-3300-У-е ОКПО № 21181508. (https://manas.edu.kg/uploads/About/svidetelstvo.pdf).

Information About Licenses of Educational Programs:

The university offers multi-level programs for undergraduate, graduate, and associate degrees. Manas University has licenses for educational activities in 15 PhD specialties, 21 master's degrees, 31 bachelor's degrees, 1 specialty, and 10 associate degree programs.

The university curriculum is created in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna process, the state standards in the field of higher and secondary vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the requirements of the Council of Higher Education.

The university diploma is recognized by the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Türkiye, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.

 

Educational Programs Accreditation

Educational programs are independently accredited. In the 2019-2020 academic year, 38 bachelor's degree programs and 6 master's degree programs were accredited. In 2021, 5 educational programs (1 specialty, 1 master's, 3 associate degree programs) received accreditation. From April 11 to April 14, 2022, 10 master's programs were accredited. Additionally, from March 16 to 19, 2023, 4 educational programs (2 master's, 2 bachelor's) and from April 20 to April 23, 2024, 10 educational programs (7 associate degree programs, 3 master's) successfully underwent accreditation by independent external agencies.
