Our Faculty Members Participated in the Forum “The Future of Seed Production in Kyrgyzstan”
Upon invitation by the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Agriculture under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Department of Agricultural Crop Expertise of the same Ministry, and the AgroLid Group of Companies, our faculty members Doç. Dr. Mahabat KONURBAYEVA and Öğr. Gör. Mederbek CAANBAYEV participated in the Forum entitled “The Future of Seed Production in Kyrgyzstan: Quality, Innovation, Partnership.”
The forum focused on the development of the seed sector in the Kyrgyz Republic, including state policy, modern technologies, seed quality and certification, and the interaction between science, business, and the farming community.
During the forum, Öğr. Gör. Mederbek CAANBAYEV delivered a presentation entitled “Genetic Resources of Fruit Crops in Kyrgyzstan and Breeding Research,” highlighting research findings on genetic resources and breeding activities.
Participation in such events contributes to strengthening the Faculty’s scientific cooperation and engagement with relevant institutions and industry stakeholders.
