“Chekit Media” Editor-in-Chief Asel Sooronbayeva Conducted a Master Class for Students
On September 21, 2026, Asel Sooronbayeva, Editor-in-Chief of “Chekit Media,” conducted a master class for students of the Department of Journalism at the Faculty of Communication of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
The master class was held on the topic “Preparing Journalistic Investigations” and was attended by third- and fourth-year Journalism students.
During the event, students received practical insights into the process of preparing journalistic investigations, including information gathering and analysis, the preparation of journalistic materials, and current issues in professional journalism. The students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions, exchanged opinions, and discussed practical aspects of journalistic work.
As part of the event, a special coffee break was organized for the students, and promotional gifts and merchandise from “Chekit Media” were presented to the participants.
The master class contributed to the development of students’ professional and practical skills, increased their interest in investigative journalism, and provided an opportunity to learn about contemporary professional practices in the media sector.
