The Faculty of Communication at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) is actively pursuing initiative to reinforce international academic relations and broaden scientific collaboration. Associate Professor Dr. Gulzada Stanalieva represented Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University at the international scientific-practical conference titled "History of Literature and Textual Criticism: Research and Teaching Experiences," held at the M. O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art in Almaty.
Dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the renowned literary scholar, Doctor of Philology, Professor, and member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, Kanipash Kaisakyzy Madibayeva, this international scientific platform brought together scholars and researchers from both nations.
Literary Relations and Scientific Projects of the Two Nations Discussed
During the conference held on September 8–9 at the "Gylym Ordasy" building in Almaty, the literary ties between the two countries, contemporary issues in textual criticism, and the cultural-scientific cooperation of the Turkic peoples were comprehensively addressed.
Within the scope of the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gulzada Stanalieva, a faculty member at KTMU's Faculty of Communication, presented her paper prepared in alignment with the core project titled "History of Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek, Turkmen, and Azerbaijani Literatures in the Independence Era." In her presentation, Dr. Stanalieva expressed her deep gratitude to the Kazakh scholars who contributed actively to the execution of this scientific project.
Scientific Cooperation among Turkic Peoples Addressed
During the official segment of the event, sincere wishes and congratulations on behalf of Kyrgyz scholars and writers were conveyed to the honoree, Professor Kanipash Madibayeva, who led the Kazakh literature section of the project.
Throughout the sessions, methodologies for researching the literary heritage of the Turkic world and teaching modern approaches in the field of textual criticism were analyzed and received high commendation.
Advancement of International Academic Partnerships
In the closing remarks of the conference, the vital importance of joint research projects in strengthening the cultural and academic ties among Turkic peoples was emphasized. The exchange of scientific ideas throughout the meeting established a solid foundation for elevating Kyrgyz-Kazakh literary and academic partnerships to a higher level in the future.
