KTMU Students Met with Bakai Bank Experts

As part of practical training activities aimed at merging academic achievements with industry experience, students from the Faculty of Communication at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University visited the Head Office of Bakai Bank. The technical field trip, organized with the participation of students from the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, provided an opportunity to examine the current practices of corporate communication, human resources management, and brand strategies within the financial sector firsthand.

The program, organized under the coordination of Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanyshay Muktarova, was attended by sophomore, junior, and senior students from the department. During the meeting with the bank's Human Resources (HR), Marketing, and Public Relations (PR) department managers, the transforming communication structure of the financial sector and the strategic approaches of institutions in the digital age were discussed.

Within the scope of the program, bank experts shared their field experiences with the students regarding the role of human resources management within the corporate structure, modern marketing approaches, advertising strategies, and public relations processes. Evaluations particularly focused on the impacts of digitalization on brand trust, media visibility, and corporate reputation, helping students more closely analyze the current dynamics of the sector.

Furthermore, examples of changing workforce expectations in the financial sector, creative communication strategies, and the transformation of professional competencies were shared during the meeting. Students found the opportunity to acquire practice-based knowledge on various topics, ranging from corporate decision-making processes to communication management.

Students Gained Practical Training Opportunities

Students had the chance to experience corporate processes by participating in Q&A sessions and trivia quizzes prepared by the bank staff. At the end of the event, corporate gifts from the bank were presented to the successful students. Throughout the trip, students directly asked questions to industry professionals, closely observing the current expectations of the business world, the working culture, and professional development processes.
