A 6-hour GIF Animation Workshop was held for students of the Public Relations and Advertising Department, helping participants develop essential skills in digital content creation. Throughout the workshop, students learned the fundamental concepts, techniques, and tools used in creating GIF animations.
The program began with an overview of the importance of GIF animations, their areas of application, and their role in social media. This was followed by theoretical sessions covering the basic principles of animation, the features of the GIF format, and the structure of frames and timing.
During the practical sessions, participants worked with programs such as Adobe Photoshop and GIMP. They created both simple and more advanced GIF animations, gaining hands-on experience in frame creation, timing adjustments, and exporting their projects.
As part of the creative assignments, students developed their own concepts and produced original animations by incorporating text, effects, and background elements. At the end of the workshop, a discussion session was held where participants presented their work, received feedback, and exchanged ideas for future projects.
The workshop was designed for second- and third-year students of the Public Relations and Advertising Department and stood out for the participants’ active engagement and creative outcomes.
