The “Working as a Freelance Reporter and Fixer in Photojournalism” event
The “Working as a Freelance Reporter and Fixer in Photojournalism” event, organized by the RTS Department, was held on March 6, 2025, at the Photography Studio of the Faculty of Communication. The event was conducted by Academic Specialist Fahri Tarhan, with participation from our faculty students.
Danil Usmanov, who works as a freelance photographer for prestigious international media outlets (New York Times, The Guardian, Stern), shared his industry experience and explained how he works as a press photographer through examples of his work. Students’ questions and project ideas were also addressed in detail.
