A Meaningful Message from Future Communicators: "Hand in Hand for Children" on April 23rd
The Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at the Faculty of Communication, Kyrgyzstan-Türkiye Manas University, marked this year’s April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day not only with celebrations but also with a significant step toward social solidarity. On the morning of the holiday, department members and 2nd and 3rd-year students gathered at the National Center for Mother and Child Care in the Jal district of Bishkek to organize a voluntary cleaning event.
This initiative was carried out to support hygiene standards at the Children’s Hospital and to strengthen public health awareness. Furthermore, the event aimed to foster a sense of social responsibility and environmental sensitivity among students, deepening their ties with the community. Through this meaningful work, future communication specialists demonstrated the practical application of being a "socially conscious individual," perfectly aligning with the spirit of the holiday.
The event was attended by: Head of the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Yoğurtçu; Senior Lecturer Stambulbek Mambetaliyev; Senior Lecturer Dr. Marat Ergeshov; Senior Lecturer Nargiza Mamatkulova; Research Assistant Dr. Camila Abdimalikova; staff member Hayrulla Rahmatilla uulu; visiting scholar through the Erasmus program Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meltem Cemiloğlu, and the department’s 2nd and 3rd-year students.
The Radio, Television, and Cinema Department family wishes all children a happy National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, extends wishes for continued success to the staff of the National Center for Mother and Child Care, and expresses sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to this meaningful event.
