Seminar

Senior lecturers from the Department of "Economics, Management, and Finance" at the Higher School of Business and Law, Dinara Mamyrbekova and Yerzhan Domalatov, conducted seminars at the Kyrgyz Turkish Manas University within the framework of the "Orhun" exchange program. On March 4-5, 2025, they held seminars on the topics "The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education" and "Application of Digital Educational Resources in the 'Flipped Classroom' Method."

Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays an important role in various fields, such as diagnosis in medicine, data analysis in the financial sector, automation in industry, and organizing individual learning processes in education. AI can make life easier and increase efficiency, but it also raises ethical and social issues.

During the seminar, the basic principles of artificial intelligence, its history, current status, and future prospects were discussed. Social and ethical implications of using AI were also addressed, along with recommendations for its responsible application.

The seminar "Using Digital Educational Resources in the 'Flipped Classroom' Method" introduced the innovative "Flipped Classroom" methodology. The seminar aimed to improve the quality of the educational process by integrating digital and interactive resources into modern education and promoting active student participation.

During the seminar, participants were introduced to the core principles of this method, its advantages, and application possibilities. Ways to use digital educational resources, programs, and platforms for organizing lessons based on this method were also presented. The flipped classroom method differs from the traditional educational model in that theoretical materials and homework are completed at home, while practical tasks and discussions take place in the classroom.
