Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zakir ÇOTAYEV Participated in the Roundtable Meeting Held in Issyk-Kul
A roundtable meeting was held with the participation of our department faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zakir ÇOTAYEV, who took part as both moderator and presenter.
The meeting, aimed at developing mechanisms for the prevention, rehabilitation, and reintegration into society of citizens affected by extremist ideologies within the framework of combating extremism and terrorism, was held in the Issyk-Kul region.
According to a statement released by the Press Service of the State Penitentiary Service, participants shared their practical experiences and developed recommendations for establishing a comprehensive system for the theological and psychological rehabilitation of inmates influenced by extremist ideologies, as well as their reintegration and social adaptation following their release.
