Modern Methods of Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring
In May 2025, a scientific seminar on "Modern Methods of Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring" was held at the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. The seminar was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Engineering, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Nurzat Totubaeva. In her report, she spoke in detail about modern methods for determining water quality, including physical-chemical, biological and sensor technologies.
During the seminar, the participants discussed issues of water pollution, monitoring methods, climate change and comprehensive assessment of aquatic ecosystems under anthropogenic pressure.
The event aroused great interest among students and teachers. We would like to thank the participants for their active participation and interest in the issues raised on water quality!
