The aim of the department is to be a leading department in the education and teaching of Industrial Engineering in line with the mission of Kyrgyz-Turk Manas University. Being the only department in Kyrgyzstan giving modern industrial engineering education, our mission is to educate the students as Industrial engineers who serve best in their own profession and contribute to the scientific technological and economic developments of the age. Graduates who are sensitive to humanity problems and aware of their professional responsibilities are a part of our mission.
Our objective of education program is to train the students as Industrial engineers. Graduates who are able to
1. work in energy production, transmission and distribution, electronics and telecommunication fields in national and international enterprises and organizations.
2. continue to graduate education in national and international universities and become academic staff members.
3.have entrepreneurial skills and can build their own business
4. to conform to professional etics and serve their country and humanity.
Industrial engineering is an engineering discipline that can be applied to many sectors. The department's training programs are designed to educate engineers with the skills and leadership and creativity to follow, implement and develop new technological developments.
Industrial Engineering deals with the process from design to development, improvement and operation of scarce resources such as human, time, money and raw materials. The main objective of Industrial Engineering is to improve efficiency and productivity by using various scientific methods at every stage of development of these systems.
The department's training program is 4 years. Students who successfully complete the education are given an Industrial Engineering diploma. In this process, students will take courses related to mathematics, physics and computer programming in the first year, and fundamental courses such as Operations Research, Production Planning and Inventory Control, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management required by Industrial Engineering.
