Music Performance by Our Faculty at the Karabakh Victory Event
On November 7, 2025, our university organized a commemoration and celebration event on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Karabakh Victory. The event was held at the University Social Facilities and attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Meder Abakirov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan, Latif Seyfeddin Oğlu Gandilov, the Ambassador of Turkey to Bishkek, Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem, the Vice-Rector of KTMU, Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, the Deputy General Secretary of KTMU, Assoc. Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil, as well as numerous government officials and academic staff.
During the event, faculty members from the Department of Music of the Faculty of Fine Arts — Lecturers Gökhan USAL, Necip YILGIN, and Fatih Erenler — performed a selection of Azerbaijani folk songs. The musical performance provided the audience with touching and memorable moments that reflected the significance and importance of the Karabakh Victory.
The event served as an important platform to highlight the brotherly ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey and to celebrate the shared cultural heritage through music.
