Vocational College Social Responsibility Project «A Package of Kindness»
On October 2, 2026, in observance of the International Day of Older Persons, first-year students of the Tourism and Hotel Management Program at the Vocational College, under the coordination of the Program Head, Acting Associate Professor Madina Öztürk, organized a social initiative entitled “A Gift of Kindness.”
As part of the initiative, students distributed food packages to older people they encountered on the city streets, contributing to the promotion of mutual assistance and solidarity. The project aims to foster a sense of social responsibility among students, promote respect for social values, and strengthen a culture of mutual support and care for older people.
The Vocational College places particular emphasis not only on students’ professional training but also on their personal development, organizing activities that promote social responsibility, compassion, and a culture of mutual assistance.
