The 7–8 November History and Ancestors Remembrance Day Program was held.


On November 6, 2025, the Faculty of Letters organized a remembrance program on the occasion of the 7–8 November History and Ancestors Remembrance Days at Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University. At the event attended by the university’s administrators, faculty members, and students, a film about Ata Beyit was shown.

At the opening of the event, the Vice Rector, Prof. Almaz Ibraev spoke about the significance of independence and historical research. He honored prominent statesmen who contributed to the establishment of the Kyrgyz state and called on students to responsibly continue the valuable legacy left by their ancestors through education. The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Professor Alpaslan Aşık, emphasized that this day is an important occasion to express our gratitude to our ancestors, preserve the valuable legacy they left behind, and remember them once again.

In the program, Dr. Bolot Abdrahmanov, the Director of the Ata-Beyit National History and Memorial Complex, provided a detailed account of how Ata-Beyit was discovered. Dr. Abdrahmanov shared information on the total number of those who were repressed in Kyrgyzstan, their fate, nationality, profession, gender, and age. The program concluded with the presentation of the "30th Anniversary Badge" of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University to Dr. Abdrahmanov and a commemorative photo session.
