Visit to the “Altın Uiia” Children’s Home
On April 9, 2026, within the framework of social responsibility activities, a visit to the “Altın Uiia” Children’s Home was organized by the Department of History, Faculty of Letters. Asst. Prof. Dr. Zukhra Altymyshova and PhD student Osman Yılmaz visited the central office of the children’s home, where they met with the administration and the children receiving education there.
The “Altın Uiia” Children’s Home was established in 2006. Currently, it has two branches across Kyrgyzstan, consisting of boys’ and girls’ schools. In the future, it is planned to build additional branches of this children’s home. In these two schools, students from socially disadvantaged families in grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 receive education. These schools provide education in accordance with the ministry curriculum; in addition to this subjects, classes on ethics and spiritual values are also taught.
