A comprehensive SWOT analysis review meeting was held at the Faculty of Humanities of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) to assess the current performance of academic departments and chart a strategic vision for the future.
Chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Aşık, the meeting was attended by Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Leyla Babatürk, KTMU Strategic Board Member Prof. Dr. Gökhan Özer, and all department heads.
Prior to the session, initial findings and departmental SWOT analyses prepared by each unit were thoroughly reviewed and consolidated into a unified, comprehensive report. Department heads presented key observations, identified challenges, and proposed solutions in an interactive, highly collaborative brainstorming environment.
The faculty's position was evaluated across four fundamental criteria: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. The analysis was conducted first at the faculty level and then evaluated holistically in terms of its alignment with the university's broader strategic goals.
It was emphasized that this integrated SWOT analysis plays a crucial role both in providing an objective diagnosis of the departments' current status and in laying the groundwork for the faculty's near-term strategic development plan.
