CONFERENCE “THE PATH TO SCIENCE – 3”


On February 13, 2026, the Kyrgyz-Turkish University “Manas” hosted a scientific and practical student conference “Path to Science – 3” was held at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, dedicated to International Mother Language Day and the 70th anniversary of the head of the philology department, professor, doctor of philological sciences Burul Sagybaeva.

The event brought together teachers, students, and guests of honor. Congratulatory remarks were made by Azamat Satiev, advisor to the Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic; Rector - Professor Alpaslan Jeylan, PhD, Deputy Rector - Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, PhD, Professor Alpaslan Ashik.

In their speeches, they emphasized Burul Sagybaeva's significant contribution to the development of philological science, the training of highly qualified specialists, and the formation of a scientific school.

As part of the event, a festive program was organized with the participation of students from three programs of the philology department. The students presented creative performances: they sang songs and danced, read poems, played the komuz, demonstrating the richness of national culture and respect for their native language.

At the plenary session of the conference, students from the department presented the following reports: Aiganyish Taalaibekova (English Language and Literature program) – “Women's Autonomy and Resistance in English and Kyrgyz Literary Works”; Aizharkyn Turdukozhoeva (Russian Language and Literature Program) – “Being Human – The Central Motif of Mara Baidzhiev's Work”; Begimai Nurdinova (Chinese Language and Literature Program) – “Kyrgyz and Chinese Idioms with Similar Meanings.”

The topics of the presentations covered current issues in linguistics, linguoculturology, intercultural communication, and literary studies, including the problems of interpreting literary texts, comparative analysis, and understanding the national and cultural specificity of literary works.

The conference was a significant scientific and cultural event that emphasized the importance of preserving and developing native languages, as well as the continuity of the university's scientific traditions.

The event ended with warm words of gratitude and sincere congratulations to Burul Sagybaeva. Colleagues, students, and conference guests wished the honoree good health, further scientific achievements, inspiration, and new successes in her professional activities.
