The "Russian Language and Literature" Рrogram

History. The program "Russian language and literature" was founded in the 2007-2008 academic year with the speciality on the basis of the state standards of higher professional education, preparation of a bachelor's degree with the speciality in direction 531 000 - Philology (Russian language and literature).

Graduates of the program receive a diploma of higher education of the international standard, which opens them the opportunity to be competitive in the world labor market. The term of the study is 4 years.

Graduates of the Russian Language and Literature Program work with their speciality also in other spheres in Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Many of them continue their education Master׳s degreein Kyrgyzstan, two of them study in Moscow at the Moscow State University.

Objectives: The development of close economic, cultural and political ties of the Turkic-speaking countries with Russia necessitates training of specialists with knowledge of the Russian language and Russian culture. The purpose of the program "Russian Language and Literature" is the training of highly qualified specialists with the following skills:

1. teaching the Russian language and literature in secondary schools;
2. implementation of written and oral communication in the chosen field of activity;
3. translation from Russian into Turkish / Kyrgyz;
4. compilation, editing and proofreading of various types of texts;

3. a specialist in public relations in business, in public and private companies;
4. translator and editors in public and private print media;
