On February 5, 2026, the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Humanities at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University organized an outreach meeting and presentation program for school students to introduce the faculty and the department.
The event was attended by senior students and teachers from Secondary School No. 39 named after B. Alymov in Bishkek, as well as students and teachers from the Republican Kyrgyz-Turkish Anadolu Lyceum.
The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, PhD Professor Alpaslan Ashyk, and the Head of the Department of Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences Professor Zhyldyz Urmanbetova delivered welcoming remarks and introduced the faculty and the to the participants.
During the meeting, the students received detailed information about the faculty’s academic programs, educational opportunities, the specifics of the Philosophy major, and the importance of the humanities in contemporary society.
The program included presentations prepared by Philosophy students and continued in an interactive question-and-answer format with active participation from the school students.
At the end of the meeting, the students visited the faculty’s laboratories, the Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum of the university, the library, and were given a tour of the campus.
