On April 15, 2026, a seminar was held as part of a series organized by the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Humanities at Kyrgyz-Turkish “Manas” University. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kishimjan Eshenkulova delivered a presentation titled “Artificial Intelligence and the ‘Schizophrenic’ Society.”
The members and students of the Department participated in this seminar. This seminar focused on the role of artificial intelligence in contemporary society. Eshenkulova addressed the role of humans as subjects, the functions of consciousness as the highest attribute of human beings, their forms and elements, as well as the algorithmic nature of artificial intelligence, its impact on humanity, and its future development. Particular emphasis was placed on examining the “schizophrenic” condition, which is increasingly becoming a significant issue of our time and is beginning to manifest itself in politics and society, as an epistemological problem.
During the seminar, discussions were held between faculty members and students on questions such as whether it is possible to prevent or limit this “schizophrenic” condition, or whether there is a way out of it. Students actively shared their suggestions and perspectives, providing examples from everyday life related to artificial intelligence. The relevance of the topic, together with the lively discussion, further contributed to the significance of the seminar.
