There are three laboratories established at the Department of Simultaneous Interpretation under the Faculty of Humanities aimed to develop students’ simultaneous interpretation skills as well as language skills.
Our laboratories are equipped with modern simultaneous interpretation (microphones, infrared ports, portable headsets, LED boards, etc.) technologies used to enhance students’ professional competencies and provide suitable and favorable learning environment.
In these laboratories, students carry out practical interpretation activities based on texts in various fields from Kyrgyz into Turkish, Kyrgyz into English and Russian into Turkish, both consecutively and simultaneously, which by its turn develop students skills in diverse actual working situations as interpreters.
