Fine Art Print Workshop

The Fine Art Print Workshop was established in the 2022-2023 academic year under the Graphic  Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Its purpose is to enable students to learn and practice both traditional and modern printmaking techniques. Over three years, students have produced various prints—including linocut, engraving, and other methods—as part of their coursework across different classes.

Workshop Equipment:

  • Two printing presses:

    • One commercially purchased

    • The other custom-built by metalworking craftsmen from the university’s Vocational School

  • One exposure unit – for preparing silkscreen (screen printing) stencils

  • One screen-printing table

  • One acid bath – for etching metal plates (intaglio printing)

  • One ink roller – for applying ink to printing plates
