Objectives of the Phytopathology Laboratory at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University:
To conduct practical training and research activities for undergraduate and graduate students, and to identify various microorganisms that cause plant diseases. The laboratory performs isolation of plant pathogens such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, and entomopathogenic bacteria, as well as biochemical, physiological, pathogenicity, and enzyme activity tests. For rapid and accurate diagnosis of plant diseases, the laboratory uses both classical diagnostic methods and molecular and serological techniques.
