A historical journey along the "Саманчынын жолу"
As the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics at Manas University of Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, we held a viewing event for the film "Саманчынын жолу", one of the important works of Kyrgyz cinema. The event, organized on December 11, 2024 with the participation of the students and academicians of the department, offered a rich experience in both artistic and cultural terms.
The film tells the story of a woman who tried to protect her family and lands during the war years, full of determination and sacrifice. The film, which impressively tells the hardships experienced by those left behind when men went to the army during the war, also moved the audience. The participants had the opportunity to get to know the difficulties and solidarity of the Kyrgyz people during the war more closely through this impressive production.
As the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, we are happy to host such a meaningful event. We will continue to organize such events in the future, which will allow our students to benefit from cultural and artistic riches.
