Sustainable Development Initiatives
The "Sustainable Development Initiatives" event was held on January 29, 2025 at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, Manas University, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey. All students in the department attended the event. The event drew attention to social, economic and environmental problems, and various projects and initiatives for sustainable development were discussed. The SDI team encouraged the active participation of young people in development processes through social projects and start-ups. Participants exchanged ideas with innovative projects to protect the environment, improve quality of life and increase social responsibility. Important initiatives such as the 2021 Food Systems Summit and the SDG Youth Leadership Program were also highlighted at the event. Such organizations were considered an important step in achieving sustainable development goals.
