“Mathematics and Art” Seminar Held at Ermatov Music and Pedagogical Institute
In order to develop students’ creativity and analytical thinking skills and to bring together students with different ways of thinking, the Department of Mathematics of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University organized a seminar entitled “Mathematics and Art” at the Ermatov Music and Pedagogical Institute.
During the seminar, the intrinsic relationship between mathematics and art was discussed, emphasizing that mathematics is not limited to numbers and formulas but is also deeply connected to aesthetics, rhythm, and creativity. With the participation of students from different disciplines, the event provided a productive environment where analytical thinking and artistic perspectives converged.
Participants had the opportunity to observe how mathematical thinking can inspire artistic creativity. The seminar highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session.
As the Department of Mathematics of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, we aim to continue organizing similar academic and cultural events that support the holistic development of students in the future.
