Cooperation with Kyrgyzpatent
The Director of the Intellectual Property and Innovation State Agency (Kyrgyzpatent) of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Rahat Kerimbayeva and the accompanying delegation visited Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University.
During the visit to the university on February 15, 2022, “Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding” was signed by Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and Kyrgyzpatent Manager Rahat Kerimbayeva.
The signing ceremony in the Senate Hall was attended by KTMU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Anvarbek Mokeyev and Advisor to the Rector, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Serhat Burmaoğlu, Head of Kyrgyzpatent Innovation Department Aysuluu Mustapakulova, Head of Kyrgyzpatent Copyright and Related Rights Department Iris Tursunaliyeva and academics.
In the Memorandum of Understanding, Kyrgyzpatent gave courses to the academic staff and students of KTMU on the protection of intellectual property rights with legal regulations and the development of innovation; Design, application and registration processes of intellectual property rights in Kyrgyzpatent; There are articles such as organizing in-service training programs on theory and practices in the field of intellectual property and innovation development.
The Memorandum of Understanding also paves the way for joint research activities on current issues in intellectual property and innovation.
After the signing ceremony, the guests visited the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Agriculture.
The delegation also gave information about the activities of Kyrgyzpatent as the guest of the live broadcast of MEDIAMANAS and the joint work to be done with KTMU.
