In The Memory of Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region's 100th year Photograph Exhibition
A meaningful photograph exhibition named “Kara-Kırgız Autonomous Region's 100th year” was held in Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Rectorship foyer area.
The exhitibion held on 17 October 2024 and opened it's doors to the visitor with the photos that highlights the deep-rooted history of the Kyrgyz Republic.
To the opening of the jointly held exhibition by KTMU Department of History and Kyrgyz Republic State Cinematography Archive's, Turkiye Republic Bishkek Embassy Education Counsellor Kursat Dulkadir, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Chairman of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Capak, KTMU Headmaster Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Headmaster's Proxy Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibrayev, Headmaster Assistants Prof. Dr. Recai Dogan, Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karımsakov, Faculty of Literature's Dean Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Asık and students attended.
Photos which took place in the exhitibion was revealed the important people and events which led to the founding of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region. Right along side the Soviet Union era Kyrgyz's State founders, Kara-Kyrgyz Breau Turkistan Committee members' photos who were on purpose of the limit national lands of Middle Asia Republics' attracted attention.
The exhibition pointed out the historical importance of the people those who had a major role on Kyrgyzstan's modern borders’ to took form, provided an opportunity to it's visitors to deeply understand this period and the process of formation of the Kyrgyz people's national identity closely.
KTMU Department of History Academic Member Asst. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roza Abdikulova, besides giving information about the photos, pointed out that founding of Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region's in 1924 and its critical importance of the Kyrgyz people's development of national identity.
