4th Manas Forum held with the collaboration of the Ibn Haldun University

“4th Manas Forum” held in collaboration with the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Turkic World Strategic Research Center and Ibn Haldun University between 16-18 October 2024, forum successfully held with the home ownership of the Ibn Haldun University Haydar Aliyev Avrasya  Studies Implementation and Research center.

The main theme of the forum was “Relations and Collaboration Strengthen in Euroasia” Initiatives, projects and the problems that concern the region considered with the Turkic world view, discussed in the forum.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Chapak, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas Univercity Headmaster, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Turkic States Organisation Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliyev, Ibn Haldun University Headmaster Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, Ankara Social Sciences University Headmaster Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan, Euroasia Studies Implementation and Research Center Principal Prof. Dr. Yasar Sari Haydar, KTMU Turkic World Strategic Research Center Principal Prof. Dr. Nasuh Uslu,  academicians, studens and numberous participants took part in the forum.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Chapak, gave a speech in the opening ceremony of the forum. He underlined the importance of the Euroasia's increased strategy. He pointed out that these kind of forums have been strengthening the collaboration between the countries in the region. Forums that held up to the present have quite important subjects, he said and underlined that these contributions are very valuable to the region.

Prof. Dr. Chapak, who indicates that it’s so meaningful for Turkic World and the future of Turkiye to announce this year as “Turkiye Century” for the 21st Century, said that the works will be served in Middle Asia and Eurosia can contribute to the existing chaotic times to pass.

Prof. Dr. Chapak thinks that results which will be obtained from forum will not merely stay as a theory. It will also find a reflection in practice life and besides the Turkic world, these collaborations also will have a positive impact on the humanity, added to his words. At last, he thanked everyone who had a part to held this meeting and wished that the forum will end with success.

“Turkic world needs to be united more than ever”

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Headmaster Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan gave important messages about the collaborations which strengthen in the Turkic world and Euroasia region in his speech at the opening ceremony. He stated, “With the cold war ended, in this changing environment, international balances are started to change and Turkic world needs to be united and strong more than ever to be strongest to take it's place. Universities of Turkic world are important to contribute. To make a contribution to this goal, Manas Forums have started to hold. In addition to this main purpose, besides the acting of globalization and territorialization, we're hoping that Manas University will make huge contribution to the Turkish States Organisations and Turkic World's key issues and the solutions against the issues and to techinally evaluate it's collaboration potential purpose”

“With overarching politics Turkic collaboration will be stronger.”

Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan stated that Turkic collaboration and connections need to get stronger in Euroasia. He continued, “We need to think numerous fields as a whole. Energy and substructure projects need to be faster for that. We need to increase collaboration in the field of science and technology” and pointed out that cooperations need to study every detail of the environment matters. “Also we need to develop common strategies in the security and defence field.” He pointed out that it's important to support collaboration in the youth and sports field. “We need to use media and communication channels more active for to describe the works and to support. And we need to strengthen cultural diplomacy, there should be more education and event to hold.”

Headmaster Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan pointed out the importance of assimilate inclusive policies for stronger and sustainable Turkic collaboration in Euroasia. This process is possible with the determination of a inclusive road preparation by the specialists. Prof. Dr. Ceylan stated that, “We need to keep working for the collaboration in the Euroasia and Turkic world under the roof of institutions like Turkic States Organisations, Turkic Academies, TURKSOY, TURKPA, Ahmet Yesevi University and Manas University.”

Headmaster Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan expressed that the forum will highlight the Turkic World's scientific discussions and lead up to collaborations. He believes that these kind of organizations will strengthen the ties much more between the countries in the region.

Prof. Dr. Nasuh Uslu who's KTMU Turkic World Strategic Research Center Principal, underlined the importance of the visions of “Turkiye Century” and “Turkic World Century”

“These kind of organizations carries vital importance for the Turkic world's future. In this period which unity efforts has been gaining momentum, it's extremely important to discuss together about the developments and initiatives. In this sense, we believe that the scientific studies emerging within the frame of the Manas Forum will make significant contributions to literature which has been improving day by day.” he stated and thanked to those who held the Manas Forum.

Euroasia's stragetic and economic future was discussed within the 4th Manas Forum which held online and offline. In the forum under the topics of several scientific notice as Economic  Integration and Commerse”, “Geopolitics and Strategy”, “Turkic World and Turkic States Organisations and “Culture and Education” was presented. Besides the strengthen of integrations and collaborations in Euroasia, Turkic World’s active role in the projects and strategic dynamics in details were also discussed in detail.

4th Manas Forum emerged as an important platform for the future of economic and strategic configuration in Euroasia. It ended with works aimed at strengthening academic and political collaboration in the region.
