Manas University Students Achieve Success in the “Best Teacher of the Year” Competition

On December 23, 2024, the Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, and Deputy Rector, Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev met with graduate students from the History Department who won the “2024 Best Teacher of the Year” competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In this prestigious competition, Aldiyar Ashyrbekov, a graduate of the History Department at Manas University and Deputy Director of School No. 97 in Bishkek, was awarded a Certificate of Honor, a cash prize, and the badges “Excellence in Education of the Kyrgyz Republic” and “Best Teacher of the Year.”

A source of pride for the university was also Kurmanbek Haidarov, a master's student from the History Department and a history teacher at School No. 94 in Bishkek. Haidarov was recognized for his outstanding pedagogical skills and success in implementing modern educational approaches, receiving the title of “Best History Teacher of the Year.”

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev congratulated the award-winning students and wished them continued success in their academic and professional careers. The winners were also presented with gifts to celebrate their significant achievements.

In their speeches, Aldiyar Ashyrbekov and Kurmanbek Haidarov expressed deep gratitude to KTMU, noting that their success was based on the strong academic support of the university and the guidance of its distinguished faculty members.

This competition is one of the most prestigious events promoting excellence in education, aimed at encouraging teachers who implement creative and advanced pedagogical ideas using modern educational technologies and methods.
