As part of the Rectorate Seminars of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, an important conference for administrative managers was held on March 12, 2025 at the Rectorate Conference Hall. The keynote speaker of the conference was Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University’s faculty member Prof. Dr. Selçuk Karaman.
The conference titled “Digitalization and Transformation of Management Processes,” was attended by Manas University’s Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Recai Doğan and Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov, Secretary General Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, as well as deans, vice deans, directors, deputy directors, heads of departments, faculty secretaries, administrative managers, chiefs, and both administrative and academic experts.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Karaman expressed his pleasure at being at Manas University and highlighted KTMU’s vision, which seamlessly integrates tradition with innovation. Emphasizing that digital transformation is no longer a choice but a strategic necessity, Prof. Dr. Karaman pointed out that this process not only enhances efficiency but also opens new opportunities. He underscored the crucial role of digital transformation in higher education institutions, stating that it can drive radical changes in education, research, and societal contributions. He also provided administrators with in-depth insights into strategies for successfully navigating this transformation.
In his closing speech, KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Ceylan reaffirmed the university’s commitment to digital transformation, stating that both academic and administrative staff would play an active role in this process. He also expressed his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Karaman for delivering such an insightful and content-rich conference.
The event concluded with Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan presenting a Certificate of Appreciation to Prof. Dr. Selçuk Karaman in recognition of his valuable contributions.
