On April 9, 2025, as part of the Manas University Continuing Education Center seminars, Research Assistant Dr. İbrahim Gündoğdu from the Faculty of Tourism organized a seminar titled “Health Tourism in Kyrgyzstan.”
The seminar, which attracted both academicians and students, explored the concept of tourism and its various types, with a particular emphasis on health tourism.
Dr. Gündoğdu highlighted the potential of health tourism in Kyrgyzstan, presenting data supported by scientific research. He introduced regions such as Issyk-Ata, Keremet Suu, Altyn Arashan, and Ak-Suu in the context of thermal tourism. Additionally, he provided information on medical mud therapies, koumiss treatments, sanatoriums, and kurorts practiced in the country.
Held in an interactive question-and-answer format, the seminar maintained strong student interest and active participation throughout. The event concluded with a group photo following the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Gündoğdu.
