As part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU), the “Manas Youth Festival” drew significant interest from prospective students. The event was held within the scope of the university's promotional efforts to showcase its academic, social, and cultural offerings.
Organized in cooperation with the KTMU Faculty of Fine Arts and Manas TV, the festival took place at Bishkek Park. Its primary aim was to introduce prospective students to the university’s educational opportunities and vibrant campus life.
The event was attended by KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Recai Doğan and Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov, the Educational Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye Kürşad Dulkadir, as well as deans, academics, students, and numerous citizens.
Throughout the program, prospective students and their families had the opportunity to engage with university representatives and receive detailed information about the admission process. Visitors were also informed about KTMU’s faculties, academic programs, international exchange opportunities, dormitory facilities, and extracurricular activities.
The event featured live music, creative workshops, and artistic performances, bringing vibrancy and energy to the venue. KTMU students captivated the audience with traditional dance performances and songs in Kyrgyz, Turkish, Russian, Uzbek, and other languages.
The cultural segment of the event included poetry recitals, where young talents expressed their emotions and ideas through powerful verses. Traditional games such as mangala, toguz korgool, and arm wrestling also attracted considerable interest from both young participants and their families.
With the “Manas Youth Festival,” Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University presented an inspiring and comprehensive introduction to prospective students, highlighting the rich academic, cultural, and social environment it offers.
