Manas Strengthens Participatory and Expertise-Based Management Model: Appointment of New Advisors to the Rector at KTMU

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) has appointed three distinguished academicians as Advisors to the Rector: Head of the Department of Philology, Prof. Dr. Burul Sagynbaeva; Faculty Member of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Askarbek Tulobaev; and Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita Ismailova.

The letters of appointment were presented by Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan during a ceremony held at the KTMU Rectorate on May 26, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Ceylan emphasized that one of the fundamental management principles of Manas University is the integration of faculty members’ expertise into the university’s administrative processes. In this regard, he noted that the newly appointed advisors are expected to make significant contributions to the academic, administrative, and strategic development of the university.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ceylan stated: “At Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, we are committed to a governance model that is participatory, transparent, and grounded in academic expertise. We do not confine the scholarly knowledge of our faculty to the classroom; we integrate it into our management mechanisms. 

The three esteemed academicians appointed today are recognized for their high levels of expertise in their respective fields. With their academic achievements in philology, veterinary medicine, and computer engineering, each a strategically important discipline, they hold strong potential to help lead and shape the future of our university. These appointments reflect our collective vision for the continued progress of Manas University.”

Rector Prof. Dr. Ceylan concluded by extending his best wishes to the new advisors and expressing his appreciation for their anticipated contributions.
