Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University hosted the Rectors Forum on September 18, 2025, as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations. Held at the KTMU Cultural Center, the forum brought together university rectors from across the Turkic World.

The event was attended by KTMU Board of Trustees Chairman Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak, Manas University’s Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov, Secretary General Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, as well as numerous rectors, deputy and vice rectors, academicians, and scientists from universities in Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, and Russia.

The program began with the screening of Manas University's introductory film. The forum continued with speeches by rectors of universities from the Turkic World on strengthening cooperation in the fields of education and science.

In his remarks, Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan stated "This event highlights the potential for collaboration among universities in the Turkic World. As Manas University, we have established partnerships with many universities around the world to date. We are happy to host our rectors here today. I would also like to thank all the rectors and academicians who sent their best wishes and congratulations to our university on our 30th anniversary."

Representatives from Suleyman Demirel University, Atatürk University, Akhmet Yasawi University, Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after Akmulla, Tashkent State Pedagogical and Economic Institute, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Nazarbayev University, Uzbek National Institute of Musical Arts named after Yunus Rajabi, Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies, Namangan State University, Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Education and Sports, and Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University attended the forum. They conveyed their congratulations and best wishes for the continued success of Manas University on its 30th anniversary, further strengthening educational ties within the Turkic World.

Following the speeches, KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev presented the “30th Anniversary Medal” to the participating rectors. The medal symbolizes Manas University's 30-year journey of success and represents its scientific, cultural, and academic contributions to the Turkic World.

The forum underscored the importance of knowledge exchange, scientific cooperation, and cultural interaction among universities in the region, laying the groundwork for future strategic partnerships. The event thus went beyond celebration, offering a meaningful platform for regional academic integration and international cooperation.
