Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev Visits Manas University
On September 19, 2025, Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev visited Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU). Secretary-General Omuraliev accompanied by his delegation was welcomed at the KTMU Rectorate by Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibrayev, and Advisor to the Rector Prof. Dr. Oktay Özgül.
During the meeting, Omuraliev congratulated Manas University on its 30th anniversary and highlighted the university’s importance for the Turkic world. He stated: “Congratulations to Manas University on its 30th anniversary! Your university is a highly respected institution, known not only in Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye but also around the world. Your graduates work in many fields across Central Asia and beyond. The future belongs to young people, and knowledge is their key. Today, the world is driven by science and innovation, and the hard work of all the academic and administrative staff at Manas is truly remarkable. I sincerely congratulate you and wish you even greater success. Manas University makes a huge contribution to the Turkic world.”
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan expressed his pleasure regarding Secretary-General Omuraliev’s visit, stating: “We are honored to have you leading the Organization of Turkic States. Thank you very much for your support and contributions to our university.”
The meeting concluded with a group commemorative photo and the presentation of KTMU’s 30th Anniversary Medal to Secretary-General Kubanychbek Omuraliev. Following the meeting, Omuraliev also visited the Manas TV studio to receive detailed information about its operations.
