Students from the Faculty of Communication at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University achieved remarkable success in the “11th TRT Future Communicators Competition” organized by TRT.

This year’s competition attracted a record participation of 2,431 students and 2,312 works from 139 universities. The award ceremony was broadcast live on TRT 2 on October 14, 2025. Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University reached the finals with five projects in the “Visual Category” and won three awards.

Aizhamal Mirbek kyzy, a student from the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema, brought great pride to Manas University by winning first place in the Short Film Category with her film “The Golden Fish.” In the same category, Ainuska Asenbekova received the TRT Special Award for her film “Father’s Daughter,” while Guliza Abdykamilova earned the TRT Special Award in the Documentary Film Category with her work “Mountain Children.”

Additionally, the documentary projects “Emergency/Encounters” by Sezim Mukanbet kyzy and “Flow” by Seyitbek Makeleev also reached the finals, receiving high praise from both the jury and the audience.

The students received their awards from TRT General Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahid Sobacı and expressed their gratitude to their academic advisors and to Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University for its continuous support.

With these achievements in one of Türkiye’s most prestigious communication competitions, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University has once again proudly made its mark on the international stage.
