International Children’s Day Celebrated with Joy at KTMU

An event was organized by the Continuing Education Center of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) on the occasion of June 1 International Children’s Day. Held at the Oba Garden, the program provided students of the Continuing Education Center’s Summer School with an unforgettable day filled with fun and educational activities.

Participation at a High Level

The event was attended by KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, Secretary-General Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil, Head of the Continuing Education Center Prof. Dr. Yücel Öksüz, administrative staff, and students newly enrolled in the summer school. Throughout the program, Rector Ceylan closely engaged with the children and shared in their excitement for International Children’s Day.

Fun and Educational Activities

During the event, various games, team activities, and social programs were organized. Children enjoyed spending time in a natural outdoor environment, having fun while also strengthening friendships and social interaction.

Rector Ceylan’s Message

Addressing the participants, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that children are the most valuable treasure of societies and the architects of the future. He stated: “The healthy development of our children, whom we will entrust with our future, through science, arts, sports, and cultural values is of great importance. The duty of educational institutions is not only to achieve academic success, but also to raise responsible, self-confident individuals who are beneficial to humanity. Every activity carried out for the happiness and development of our children is a valuable investment in our future. We are very pleased to share in their excitement and joy.”

The program concluded with joyful moments, leaving lasting memories for the children who celebrated their special day in a warm and festive atmosphere.
