On October 30, 2024, at the Faculty of Theology of KTUM, an employee of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration and Religious Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Colonel Ratbek Tursunbekov, held a seminar on the topic "Prohibited Religious Organizations in Kyrgyzstan". The program included topics, methods, and methods for implementing bans. The speaker shared statistics that today the majority of society in Kyrgyzstan are Muslims, although there are a small number of people who profess other religions. The speaker gave information about religious movements that are banned. At the end of the program, the Dean of the Faculty of Theology of KTMU, Prof. Dr. Hasan AYIK, presented the speaker a certificate of gratitude and a gift on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Kyrgyzstan's Internal Affairs establishment.
