Theology Faculties Cooperation and Coordination Workshop
On November 30, 2024, the workshop was held in Bishkek at the Garden Hotel with the participation of representatives of various faculties of Theology in Kyrgyzstan. The event was attended by the Vice-Rector of KTMU, Professor Dr. Recai Dogan, Advisor of the Rector, Professor Dr. Kemal Polat, Dean of the Faculty of Theology of KTMU Professor Dr. Hasan Ayik, as well as deans and teachers of other faculties of Theology. The guest of honor of the seminar was Professor Dr. Mustafa Erdem, former member of the National Parliament of Turkey and founder of the Faculty of Theology in Osh.
During the opening of the event, the importance of the seminar for solving the problems of the faculties of Theology in Kyrgyzstan was emphasized. In his speech, Professor Erdem spoke about the development and problems that have arisen since the opening of the first Faculty of Theology in Kyrgyzstan after independence, and also shared his experience. The second part of the meeting was devoted to the exchange of useful information on the achievements and problems of each of the faculties. In the third part, the participants expressed their opinions and asked questions, discussing ways to improve the work of the faculties and cooperation in this area. At the end of the seminar, it was decided to hold such meetings once every six months, and each participant was awarded a certificate of gratitude.
