"Welcome Ramadan"


On February 27, 2025, Thursday, at 3:15 PM, the Kalem student club organized the event "Welcome Ramadan"  at the KTMU’s Faculty of Theology. The event aimed to create the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan and instill a sense of unity among students.

The event, held in the Abu Hanifa Amphitheater, was met with great interest. Participants included KTMU Rector Professor Dr. Alparslan Ceylan, Rector’s Advisors Professor Dr. Kemal Polat and Professor Dr. Mehmet Özkarcı, Dean of the Faculty of Theology Professor Dr. Hasan Ayık, along with faculty members, administrative staff, students, and invited guests.

The program began with a recitation from the Quran. Following this, the coordinator of the Kalem student club, Associate Professor Dr. Aiitmamat Kariev, provided a brief introduction to the history, vision, and mission of the club.

KTMU Rector Professor Dr. Alparslan Ceylan emphasized that Ramadan is a month of patience, sharing, and spiritual purification, highlighting its significance and importance. He also expressed gratitude to the organizing team for putting together the event. As part of the program, students presented poetry readings, theatrical performances, and a knowledge competition, all of which were highly appreciated by the audience. Additionally, the event created a peaceful and warm atmosphere for participants.

At the end of the program, refreshments were served, and the event concluded in a friendly and warm ambiance.
