In-Service Training Seminars 5

To reinforce religious knowledge among theology graduates and religious officials, ensure effective religious guidance in modern society, and support their professional development, In-Service Training Seminars continue at KTMU’s Faculty of Theology.

Within this framework, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 4:00 PM, KTMU Faculty of Theology Lecturer Associate Prof. Dr. Aiitmamat Kariev conducted a seminar titled The Role of Customs in Islamic Law and Analysis of Traditional Islamic Concepts.

The speaker explained that while Islamic law is based on fundamental sources such as the Quran, Sunnah, ijma, and qiyas, it also takes into account the customs and traditions developed by society throughout history and their influence on fiqh rulings. He then emphasized that analyzing traditional Islamic concepts is crucial for understanding religious literature.

At the end of the seminar, the lecturer gifted his books to the participants.
