On February 27, 2025, Thursday at 16:00, within the framework of the Social Responsibility Activities of the Spring Term at KTMU, and as part of the traditional “Ramadan” program held every year during the month of Ramadan, was organized a panel for women at the Satuk Bugra Han Mosque. In this panel, Mirgül Bekmurzaeva from Manas University presented on the topic of “The Benefits of Fasting,” Dr. Cazgul Colalieva, Assistant Professor, spoke about “Spirituality in Ramadan,” Altınay Kurmanbekova addressed “Ramadan and the Quran,” Dilnoza Rahmatillaeva discussed “Ethics,” and Elvira Tagaeva explained “Fasting and Fikh.” During the two-hour panel, participants were asked questions, and those who answered correctly were given gifts. Afterward, attendees were offered dates, Zamzam water. Approximately 280-300 people attended the program.
This women-focused panel will continue at Satuk Buğra Han Mosque throughout the month of Ramadan. It was emphasized that every week, university female students and the public will continue to receive beneficial religious knowledge, and they will be able to benefit from the knowledge of the Faculty of Theology professors, as well as master's and doctoral students, when seeking answers to religious questions.
