The panel was held in Kasım Tınıstanov Hall on December 15, 2021. It was held with the participation of Religious Services Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bishkek Mürsel Öztürk, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Asilbek Kulmırzayev, academicians and students.
Before the panel, the recitation of the Holy Quran by our Faculty's Graduate Student Abdimukhamet Rısaliyev was listened. Then the national anthems were sung and the promotional film of the Faculty of Theology was shown.
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, in his opening speech, said that the Faculty of Theology is of great importance and that they will meet all its needs. Emphasizing that the Faculty successfully represents the University everywhere, Alpaslan Ceylan expressed that they are proud of these achievements.
Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Asilbek Kulmırzayev also stated that the young people from Manas, who graduated from the Faculty, provide services for the Kyrgyz people to fulfill their religious obligations, and that the Faculty makes a significant contribution by meeting the need for qualified human resources in this field.
Dean of our Faculty Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat, stated that they are working to do what is necessary to protect the religious and national identity in Kyrgyzstan, to train individuals who will provide healthy religious education, to ensure the integration of the society, and to produce knowledge.
After the speeches, the panel titled "The 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Faculty of Theology" was held.
In the panel moderated by Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat, Head of Islamic Sciences Department Prof. Dr. Bekir Tatlı, “The Meaning of Theology in University”; Faculty members of the Islamic Sciences Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Demirci, “Contributions of Faculty of Theology to Higher Religious Education in Kyrgyzstan”; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Yüksek, “Faculty of Theology and Society”; Associate Professor of Religious Studies. Dr. Bakıt Murzaraimov made a presentation on "Historical Development of the Faculty of Theology".
At the end of the panel, a certificate of appreciation was given to the academic and administrative staff who had been working in our Faculty for years.
