Within the framework of the Faculty’s 2026 social responsibility activities, a “Crowning Ceremony” was held on March 26, 2026, for female students attending Qur’an courses.
The program was organized under the coordination of Zhamila Zhoraeva, a staff member of the Faculty of Theology at KTMU. Students from different age groups participated in the event, and their determination and dedication in learning to read the Holy Qur’an within a short period were highly appreciated.
Students who successfully learned to read the Qur’an in approximately one and a half months were honored with symbolic crowns during the ceremony. Throughout the event, the excitement and joy of the students were clearly observed, while their families and other participants shared in this meaningful achievement.
Prof. Dr. Nezahat Ceylan, who attended the program, congratulated the students individually and expressed her satisfaction with their achievements. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of Qur’anic education in the spiritual development of individuals.
The ceremony concluded with commemorative photographs and well wishes from the participants.
Approximately 400 women attended the program and followed it with great interest. Refreshments were served at the end of the event.
