A VISIT FROM THE FACULTY OF THEOLOGY TO "HAZRAT OSMAN ISLAMIC INSTITUTE"
The management and teachers of the Faculty of Theology visited the Islamic Institute named after Hz. Osman on 12.02.2022. Dean of the faculty Prof. Dr. Kemal POLAT, vice dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bakıt MURZARAIMOV, Head of Islamic Sciences Department Prof. Dr. Bekir TATLI and faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet DEMİRCİ and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nail KARAGÖZ went to the Institute. Halil Damla, the director of the Islamic Institute, who warmly welcomed the visitors, gave introductory information about the Institute.
Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Kemal POLAT briefly introduced KTMU Faculty of Theology. He emphasized that within the framework of the general philosophy of our University, the faculty pays attentionto the friendship, unity and solidarity between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. Polat also pointed out the necessity of teaching religion and culture together while giving religious education.
After the noon prayer held together at the Institute, the Quran was read by our teachers, some Kyrgyz books prepared by the faculty members of the Faculty of Theology were donated to the library of the Institute. It was stated that the cooperation and scientific activities of our faculty and the Institute would be continued in the future.
